Suitable For Which Investors?
Long Duration funds are suitable for investors:
1. Seeking higher debt returns by taking a view on the interest rate cycle
2. Who understand these funds can swing sharply as interest rates move
3. Who can withstand higher volatility and risk in their debt portfolio
Note:
• Most investors can skip these funds and stick to core debt funds instead
• Unlike FD, there is no guarantee of returns
• Not suitable for long term wealth creation
Fund’s Investment Strategy:
The scheme seeks to generate optimal returns while maintaining balance of yield, safety and liquidity. This income may be complemented by capital appreciation of the portfolio. Accordingly, investments shall be made in Debt & Money Market Instruments.

1) Bhupesh Bameta
Education: Mr. Bameta has done B.Tech (IIT Kanpur), CFA Charterholder (CFA Institute, USA)
Experience: Prior to joining Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund as an Analyst, Fixed Income. He was the Head of Research in Forex and Rates Desk at Edelweiss Securities Limited, covering global and Indian forex markets and economies. He was also associated with Quant Capital for 6 years as an Economist and was covering Indian and global economy and markets.
2) Harshil Suvarnkar
Education: Mr. Suvarnkar has doneB.Com, Masters in Management Studies (Finance) and Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Law.
Experience: Prior to Joining Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, he has worked with Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited.
