What is the Benchmark Index of Tata Fixed Maturity Series 61 Scheme A?
Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series 61 Scheme A and Scheme B (Tenure upto 371 days)
Scheme Details:
It comprises of 2 schemes namely Scheme A and Scheme B. Exact tenure of each scheme can range upto 371 days and will be decided at the time of the launch. Each scheme shall have a separate portfolio. The portfolio of each scheme shall comprise of Fixed Income Instruments maturing on or before the tenure of the respective schemes.
The Schemes will be wound up on completion of its tenure. If maturity date/payout date falls on holiday, then the maturity/ payout date of the scheme shall be extended by one business day or more as the case may be.Pending payment of maturity proceeds to the investors on the completion of scheme tenure, the funds may be deployed in Tri-party Repo or REPO. Interest earned on such deployment shall be included in the redemption NAV.
The trustee (or the person authorized) shall dispose of the assets of the scheme concerned in the best interest of the unit holders of that scheme. The proceeds of sale of the assets realised shall be first utilized towards discharge of such liabilities as are due and payable under the schemes and after making appropriate provision for meeting the expenses connected with such winding up, the balance shall be paid to the unit holders in proportion to their respective interest in the assets of the schemes as on the last day of close ended period.
Investment Objective:
The investment objective of each scheme is to generate income and / or capital appreciation by investing in Fixed Income Instruments having maturity in line with the maturity of the respective schemes.
The maturity of all investments shall be equal to or less than the maturity of respective schemes.
However, there is no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved. The scheme does not assure or guarantee any returns.
Liquidity:
Being closed ended scheme, the fund does not intend to buy the units back till the tenure of the scheme(s). Each scheme(s) of the series is proposed to be listed within 5 business days from the date of allotment.
On the Exchange:
The Units of the Scheme will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange of India Limited (BSE)and/or any other recognized stock exchanges as may be decided by AMC from time to time.
Investors who want to liquidate their units of the scheme(s) can sell the units in the secondary market. The Units of the Scheme may be bought or sold on all trading days minimum of 1 (one) unit at prevailing price on such Stock Exchange(s) on such Stock Exchange(s).

92 – 190 days tenure: CRISIL Ultra Short Duration Debt A-I Index
