The BSE PSU Bank Index is designed to measure the performance of PSU Banks.
Methodology:
1. The index is derived from all the constituents of BSE 500. Any change in composition of BSE 500 will be incorporated in the index.
2. All PSU Banks that are listed at the BSE are eligible for inclusion in the index subject to fulfilment of other inclusion criteria namely listing history and trading frequency
3. Constituent weights are capped at 25%, at the time of rebalancing and reconstitution.
