Guidance for NFO of ICICI Prudential Transportation and Logistics Fund

Since the scheme has no track record, we have to evaluate the performance of benchmark index and also the track record of the fund manager. As the name of the fund suggests, the fund manager will invest in the scrips of companies engaged in transportation and logistics sectors. The benchmark is recently launched and has not long track record. However, the common sense suggests that along with the growth in the economy after implementation of GST, the transport sector is expected to perform exceedingly well. So the fund which will track this index is also expected to give strong returns. Secondly, the past track record of the fund manager is also satisfactory. One may invest in this NFO.
