The quality score for each stock is determined based on return on equity (ROE), financial leverage (Debt/Equity Ratio) and earnings (EPS) growth variability analyzed during the previous 5 years. Stock weights are based on a combination of the stock’s Quality score and its free-float market capitalization.
Nifty500 Quality 50 Index can be used for a variety of purposes such as benchmarking fund portfolios, launching of index funds, ETFs and structured products.
