[ C ] My Review
Since September 2024, the underlying Index has been seeing a bearish phase. Beginning March 2025, there has been a turnaround in the fortunes of this Index. The Indian infrastructure sector is a vital driver of economic growth, encompassing essential systems like electricity, roads, telecommunications, and more.
However, due to the volatility seen in the broader markets, the investor interest towards sectoral funds has gone down. Sectoral and thematic funds had ruled the roost for quite sometime before losing investor favour as they were not able to generate good returns in turbulent times. But it is important to note that such Funds have to be bought for the longer duration and one bad market cycle cannot cause to change investment decision. More so when the sector in question is Infrastructure. Infrastructure as a business has a long gestation cycle and hence an investor should have holding period of 7-10 years in mind to earn good returns.
Can invest a small portion of your portfolio to take benefit of diversification.
