Kotak Nifty Next 50 ETF–Growth: Detailed Review
Kotak Nifty Next 50 ETF–Growth aims to replicate the performance of the NIFTY Next 50 TRI, subject to tracking error. The index represents companies that are potential future entrants into the Nifty 50, offering higher growth potential compared to traditional large-cap indices.
The ETF follows a capped free-float methodology with semi-annual rebalancing, ensuring diversification and discipline. While long-term returns have been attractive, near-term performance can be volatile, as reflected in recent 1-year returns.
Sahifund Verdict: Backed by an experienced fund management team and Kotak AMC’s strong passive investing framework, the ETF works well as a satellite allocation alongside Nifty 50 exposure. Investors should have a minimum investment horizon of 7–10 years and be comfortable with interim drawdowns.
