Mumbai, India | 9 February 2026:
Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd (KMAMC) has deployed an advanced, agentic and context-driven AI research platform from Pascal AI to enhance and scale its institutional investment research processes. This industry-first initiative is aimed at improving research speed, expanding coverage, and deepening analytical insights across Kotak Mahindra AMC’s institutional investment workflows.
Commenting on the development, Nilesh Shah, Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company, said that modern investment research increasingly depends on both the quality of insights and the speed at which they are generated. He noted that the firm continuously evaluates tools that help investment teams build stronger conviction without compromising governance standards or investment philosophy. Pascal AI’s platform, he added, integrates seamlessly with Kotak Mahindra AMC’s research context while ensuring data sovereignty and security, enabling responsible adoption of advanced AI capabilities.
The deployment underlines Kotak Mahindra AMC’s commitment to strengthening its research ecosystem through cutting-edge technology. The Pascal AI platform will operate entirely within KMAMC’s secure infrastructure, ensuring that proprietary data, internal investment frameworks, and research judgment remain firmly within the organisation’s governance perimeter.
The agentic system is designed specifically for institutional finance and automates as well as augments core analytical workflows. The objective is to create a systematic information advantage by accelerating research turnaround time, identifying risks earlier, and enriching investment decision-making, while maintaining the highest standards of data security and oversight.
Vibhav Viswanathan, CEO and Co-Founder of Pascal AI, said the deployment showcases how institutional research can evolve with agentic AI systems that operate within the discipline, context, and judgment framework of professional asset management teams. He emphasised that Pascal AI’s role is to deliver technology that brings speed, structure, and depth to research workflows, while keeping institutional control firmly at the core.
The platform is powered by Pascal AI’s proprietary Context Graph, which connects Kotak Mahindra AMC’s internal research frameworks with real-time external data sources such as regulatory filings, earnings call transcripts, and market updates. Deployed within a sovereign Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), the solution ensures all data remains securely within KMAMC’s environment. This engagement marks Pascal AI’s largest enterprise-scale implementation to date and positions India at the forefront of AI-led institutional investment research innovation.
