The ICICI Prudential Nifty200 Value 30 Index is based on the Nifty200 Value 30 benchmark index. Nifty200 Value 30 aims to track the performance of 30 companies from its parent Nifty 200 index, selected based on their ‘Value’ scores. The value score of each company is determined based on Earnings to Price ratio (E/P), Book Value to Price ratio (B/P), Sales to Price ratio (S/P) and Dividend Yield.

This is a passive fund based on the value investing model. Of the two Fund Managers, a sample study of their past performance reveals that Mr. Patel has given better returns to investors when compared to the benchmark. However, since this is a passive fund, stock picking does not come into play.
This fund is for a sophisticated investor, who is able to understand complex market and financial terminology or who has a Wealth Manager investing on his/her behalf.
