HDFC Dividend Yield Plan :Analysis
The scheme seeks to provide capital appreciation and/or dividend distribution by predominantly investing in a well-diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments of dividend yielding companies.
This is a fund that invests mainly in companies which have a high dividend yield, which is basically a financial ratio that indicates how much a company pays out in dividends each year relative to its share price.
The fund has been managed by Gopal Agrawal since Nov 2020. This scheme has NAV of Rs. 14.4490 for the growth option.The fund manager charges 2.16 % for his expenses.
Minimum investment is Rs. 5000 and minimum additional investment is Rs. 1000. SIP option is also available in this fund. Minimum investment in SIP option is Rs. 500.
Exit load is 1% for redemption within 365 days.
This fund can be compared to UTI Dividend Yield FUnd, Templeton India Equity Income Fund, Aditya Birla SunLife Dividend Yield Fund etc.
Other than the companies mentioned in the table, fund manager has also invested in ITC, TechM, Coal India etc.
