Is it good to invest in Baroda BNP Paribas Dividend Yield NFO?
Guidance for Baroda BNP Paribas Dividend Yield Fund by Paresh Gordhandas, C.A., Research Analyst.
Dividend yield funds primarily invest in stocks of companies that pay high dividends. These funds provide a regular income stream through dividends, which can be attractive for investors looking for a steady cash flow, such as retirees or those seeking income to supplement other investments. The NFO space has not seen a Dividend Yield Fund being launched since the last many months. However, there are good existing Funds in this space which are generating good retuns. For example, the SBI Dividend Yield Fund (1 year return of 42.31%), HDFC Dividend Yield Fund (1 year return of 47.42%), ICICI Prudential Dividend Yield Fund (1 year return of 57.74%).
The Fund is being managed by Shiv Chanani who has good experience of Fund Management at different fund houses.
All the companies in such a fund would generally be companies of good standing and hence along with dividend payout, investor would also get benefit of capital appreciation over a long term period.
Can invest.
