Suitable For Which Investors?
“Gold funds provide returns that are closely in line with the returns provided by gold.
We do not think of gold as a good long-term investment avenue and therefore we believe that investors can avoid these funds altogether.
But for those retail investors who’d still prefer to invest in gold, we believe that the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme offered by the Government of India is a better alternative. This scheme offers a guaranteed return of 2.5 per cent per year over and above the return provided by the price of gold, though the investment cannot be redeemed before a tenure of five years.”

The scheme seeks to generate returns that closely correspond to returns generated by Axis Gold ETF.

1) Aditya Pagaria
Education: Mr. Pagaria is a Bachelor in Management Studies and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Institute Of Technology And Management, SK Somaiya College.
Experience: Prior to joining Axis AMC he was associated with ICICI Prudential AMC (Nov 2011-Jul 2016) as Fund Manager – Fixed Income Operations.
2) Pratik Tibrewal
Education: Mr. Tibrewal is a B.Com, LLB (Gen) and MBA (Finance).
Experience: Prior to joining Axis Mutual Fund, he has worked with Inditrade Capital Ltd., Edelweiss Mutual Fund and Edelweiss Commodities trading Ltd..
