Is it good to invest in Kotak BSE PSU Index Fund NFO?
Guidance for Kotak BSE PSU Index Fund by Paresh Gordhandas, C.A., Research Analyst.
Whenever we are looking at an Index Fund, it is important to see the kind of returns the Index has generated in the past. While past performance is no guarantee for future performance, it does give an idea to the Investor. The BSE PSU Index Fund has given annualised total return of 26.98% in the past five years and 45% returns in the past three years. However, it is also important to note that PSU stocks have found good favour in the last few months but have shown a lack lustre performance (in comparison to the broader index) over a longer period of time. So one should invest a small amount only in PSU stocks.
The team of Fund Managers managing this Fund is a strong one with a good track record.
